These retentive caps allow three fundamental
functions during the immediate loading prosthetic
rehabilitations with EASy abutments:
• Make a direct impression of EASy abutment
• Reline a temporary crown for EASy abutment
• Realize the cap fusion of the definitive
crown for EASy abutment
The EASy Skin Caps feature external retentions
both for the impression phase and for
the provisional resin relining phase. The retentions
can be easily removed with drills or
with scalpel to better suit the cap to the specific
situation. The EASy Skin Caps internally
feature a ?at face which matches the one of
the easy abutments. The coupling marginal
point between the EASy Skin Caps and the
EASy abutment is already achieved with precision
by the cap and should not be de?ned
with consequent waste of time both in the relining
phase of the provisional crown and in the
modelling phase of the fusion waxing for the
definitive cap. The EASy Skin Caps for EASy
abutment present 5 markers that make them
suitable as a scan body for EASy abutments.
